RUN GREEN – RUN CLEAN: Marathon+1 & Relay in support of recycling and no littering!

hosted by Foothills Runners and Cristo Rey Village in Cayo District

CONCEPT AND INITIATIVE:

  • Support for roadside clean-up along the circuit and separation of recyclables. The event also encourages NO LITTERING during the race. The Circuit is 27.2 miles, hence Marathon+1, can be done individually or 2-person relay each running half the distance. Each year the start/finish location cycles at different villages on the circuit.

Anyone caught littering will result in an immediate DISQUALIFICATION!

Registration fees are non-refundable, and non-transferable.

  • Head towards Santa Elena
  • Continue to Georgeville
  • Continue to 7 Miles
  • Continue to San Antonio Village
  • Finish at Cristo Rey Football Field

REGISTRATION:

  • Registration: CLOSED
  • Registration will only be done online
  • No late registrations
  • No registration on day of the event
  • Deadline is Friday, January 26th, 2024 at 5:30pm

After registration is closed, there will be no modifications, transfers, or swaps.  Any person who presents him/herself taking the position of a runner who didn’t show up will be an automatic disqualification and person’s whose bib/chip was used will be banned from future Total Time’s events and partnered events.

T-SHIRT:

  • Yes Dry-fit, male and female styles
  • no shirt if registering after Jan 12th, 2024.

CHECK-IN / PACKET PICKUP:

  • Check-In and packet pickup will be done before the event.  Your reg packet will include your race bib and timing chip.

TIMING:

  • Each runner’s time is important to them and to us as well, hence, to accurately measure runners’ times, we’ll using ProChip Timers.  Both races will be mass start with the OFFICIAL time being gun-time (meaning everyone gets the same start time, you are ranked in the order you finish).

START LINE:

  • In front of the football field, Cristo Rey Village

HYDRATION:

  • Every 2 miles

FINISH AREA:

  • Runners must return the timing chip immediately after finishing the race, a sign will let you know where to drop off your chip, indicate to the volunteer nearby that you are doing so.

AWARD CEREMONY:

  • Short ceremony will be held to award finishers.
