Stride for Change: Celebrating HER 5K & 10K

START TIME:

  • 6:00 am for 10K
  • 6:15 am for 5K

DISTANCES:

  • 5K (3.1 miles)
  • 10K (6.2 miles)

Registration fees are non-refundable, and non-transferable.

  • Sagebrush Church (by the bridgefoot)

ROUTE:

  • Start at Sagebrush Church
  • Over the bridge to the north side
  • Stay on the main road
  • 5K runners turn around point is by San Pedro Urgent Care (2.5K into)
  • 10K runners turn around point is by Las Terrazas Resort (5K into)
  • Return same way
  • Cross over the bridge
  • Finish at Sagebrush Church

  •  All paved road

REGISTRATION:

  • Registration: CLOSED
  • Registration will only be done online
  • No registration on day of the event

After registration is closed, there will be no modifications, transfers, or swaps.  Any person who show up taking the position of a runner who didn’t show up will be an automatic disqualification.

CHECK-IN / PACKET PICKUP:

Check-In and packet pickup will be done before the event.  Your race bib and timing chip will be included.

TIMING:

Each runner’s time is important to them and to us as well, hence, to accurately measure runners’ times, we’ll using ProChip Timers. Timing method will be gunshot whereby all participants receive the same start time. Your time will be stopped when you cross the sensor at the finish line.

START LINE:

  • Runners will line on the street in front of Sagebrush Church

HYDRATION:

There will be 3 hydration stations

  • San Pedro Urgent Care (2.5K)
  • Las Terrazas Resort (5K)
  • 10K runners will have the SPUC on the return (7.5K)

FINISH AREA:

  • Runners must return the timing chip immediately after finishing the race, a sign will let you know where to drop off your chip, indicate to the volunteer nearby that you are doing so.

AWARD CEREMONY:

  • Short ceremony will be held to award prizes and medals.
