Before checking in and picking up your packet, all participants will be subject to a temperature check and given sanitizer before proceeding to the check in desk.  If a fever is detected, you’ll be asked to leave.

Place markers will be on the ground leading the to the check in desk. You will be given your bib and timing chip.

START LINE:

  • We’ll have a social distance start grid, markers minimum of 6 ft apart will be place to denote your standing position.
  • Each participant will be required to have on their mask whilst in the grid. (remember you’re not running yet).
  • Only runners at the front of the grid where the actual starting line is, will remove their mask before running off.
  • Other runners in the grid then move forward, the process repeats until all runners leave the grid.
  • Runners will leave at 10 second intervals.

TIMING:

Each runner’s time is important to them and to us as well, hence, to accurately measure runners’ times, we’ll using timing transponder.  Since everyone will be leaving the starting line at different times, using the timing transponders, your time will start when you cross the sensor at the starting line and will end when you cross the sensor again when you return.  This method is known as net-time, chip time, or personal/individual time.  A runner can be the last person to leave, however, if s/he has the shortest time, then that person will be declared the winner.

HYDRATION:

There will be two hydration Station:

  • These will be determined

FINISH AREA:

  • Runners must return the timing chip immediately after finishing the race, a sign will let you know where to drop off your chip, indicate to the volunteer nearby that you are doing so.

  • Runners/spectators are not to hang out at the timing desk area.
  • Runners will be required to put on their mask after they catch their breath and cool off, this will be 10 to 15 minutes after you have finished. Runners are not to be gathering during the cool down time they must remain at least 6 feet away from each other.  Runners can move around and about only when they have on their mask -this is after the cool down time.
