Gobble! Gobble! 5K|10K Turkey Trot

Having Christmas fun with a run! Wear Christmas theme colors or costumes!
VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS:
- Entry fee: $40 locals / $20US international
- Challenge Period: December 14th – 15th, 2024
- Run from anywhere you are and at anytime you prefer
- Distance 5K or 10K
- Use your personal tracker to record your distance and time
- Your race packet will be mailed to your address you provided during registration

- 10K or 6.2 miles
- 5K or 3.1 miles

- Memorial Park, Belize City
ROUTE:
10K
- Start on Marine Parade facing south from behind the stage
- Right turn on S Park Street
- Right turn on Cork Street for and few steps
- Right on Taiwan Street (going around the park)
- Left turn on Marine Parade
- Continue on Marine Parade
- Connect on the Princess Margret Drive
- Stay on Princess Margret Drive to end
- Up toward and over Belcan Bridge
- Continue on Central American Blvd
- Pass Civic Center go round the Round A Bout
- Come back the same way
- Go directly to behind the stage area.
- (DO NOT go around the park)
5K
- Start on Marine Parade facing north from behind the stage
- Continue on Marine Parade
- Connect on the Princess Margret Drive
- U Turn by St. Edwards / St Charles / PMD
- Come back the same way,
- Finish at Memorial Park

REGISTRATION:
- Registration: OPEN
- Registration will only be done online
- No late registrations
- No registration on day of the event
- Deadline is Thursday, December 12th, 2024 at 5pm
After registration is closed, there will be no modifications, transfers, or swaps. Any person who show up taking the position of a runner who didn’t show up will be an automatic disqualification.
CHECK-IN / PACKET PICKUP:
Check-In and packet pickup will be done before the event. Your race bib and timing chip will be included.
TIMING:
Each runner’s time is important to them and to us as well, hence, to accurately measure runners’ times, we’ll using ProChip Timers. Both races will be mass start with the OFFICIAL time being gun-time (meaning everyone gets the same start time, you are ranked in the order you finish).
START LINE:
- Runners will line up the street immediately behind the stage
HYDRATION:
There will at least 4 hydration stations
- 1st Hour Bar Field
- 2nd Save U Supermarket
- 3rd St John’s College Junior College
- 4th Keystone Building
FINISH AREA:
- Runners must return the timing chip immediately after finishing the race, a sign will let you know where to drop off your chip, indicate to the volunteer nearby that you are doing so.
AWARD CEREMONY:
- Short ceremony will be held to award prizes and medals.
