End at Olympic House        TERRAIN:     	Paved  roads    CATEGORIES:     	Men / Women - Open    T-SHIRT:     	Yes  - First come first served starting at 6am    AWARDS:     	Finisher Prizes for Chipped Runners (5K Race) - Men &amp\; Women   	Prizes and gifts for other participants    REGISTRATION:     	Registration: CLOSED    5K RACE     	Registration for chipped 5K race must be done online   	No late registrations   	No registration on day of the event   	Deadline is Thursday\, March 14th\, 2024 at 5:30pm    After registration is closed\, there will be no modifications\, transfers\, or swaps.  Any person who show up taking the position of a runner who didn't show up will be an automatic disqualification.  5K RUN/WALK     	Online registration encouraged   	Morning of event: Registration available only for Walkers    CHECK-IN / PACKET PICKUP:    Check-In: timing chip (5K race only) and t-shirt pickup will be done before the event starting at 6am.    TIMING:    ONLY the 5K Race will be timed. Each runner’s time is important to them and to us as well\, hence\, to accurately measure runners’ times\, we’ll using ProChip Timers. Timing method will be gunshot whereby all participants receive the same start time. Your time will be stopped when you cross the sensor at the finish line.    START LINE:     	Runners will line on the street (leading to Marion Jones) but in front of the Olympic House    HYDRATION:    There will be 1 hydration station     	At the U-turn location at the Round A bout by Golden Bay    FINISH AREA:     	Runners doing the 5K Race must return the timing chip immediately after finishing the race\, a sign will let you know where to drop off your chip\, indicate to the volunteer nearby that you are doing so.    AWARD CEREMONY:     	Short ceremony will be held to award prizes.
