Celebrating Travellers Liquors 70th Anniversary with a 70 Mile Run.

Concept: 60 miles will be done virtually, and it’s a prerequisite to participant in the actual 10-mile in-person run for rum.

• 10-mile in-person > Travellers Liquors Ltd Headquarters, 2 1/2 miles Phillip Goldson Highway

ROUTE:

• Start at Travellers Liquors Ltd Headquarters
• Down Phillip Goldson Highway
• Around the Flag Round A Bout at by the overpass/Palotii/SanCas
• Left unto Princess Margaret Drive
• All the way around unto Marine Parade
• Pass lighthouse and Belize Sign
• Straight through Tourist Village
• U -turn at Fort Street / North Front Street / Cork (old Mirab now RRC)
• Come back the same way
• When On the Phillip Goldson Highway go to Brodies/Westrac Round A Bout
• Come around keep right in the Phillip Goldson Highway South Frontage Road (the far right )
• Finish at Travellers Liquors Ltd Headquarters

After registration is closed, there will be no modifications, transfers, or swaps.  Any person who show up taking the position of a runner who didn’t show up will be an automatic disqualification.

CHECK-IN / PACKET PICKUP:

Check-In and packet pickup will be done before the event.  Your race bib and timing chip will be included.

TIMING:

Each runner’s time is important to them and to us as well, hence, to accurately measure runners’ times, we’ll using ProChip Timers. Timing method will be gunshot whereby all participants receive the same start time. Your time will be stopped when you cross the sensor at the finish line.

START / FINISH LINE:

• Runners will line up in front of the Travellers Liquors Ltd Headquarters, 2 1/2 Miles Phillip Goldson Highway

HYDRATION:

• Hydration stations at every 2 miles:

FINISH AREA:

• Runners must return the timing chip immediately after finishing the race, a sign will let you know where to drop off your chip, indicate to the volunteer nearby that you are doing so.

AWARD CEREMONY:

• Short ceremony will be held to award prizes, medals and rum.
