START / FINISH LOCATION:

  • Castleton Park, Burrell Boom Village

ENTRY FEE:

Any Distance

  • $30 Adults
  • $20 Students

ROUTE:

15K, 10K, and 5K

  • Start at Castleton Park
  • Go west towards Bermudian Landing for 1/2 your race distance
  • Make a U turn
  • Comeback to Castleton Park

Boom Circle

  • Start Castleton Park
  • Head East toward Center of the Village
  • Right Turn by the bus stop (between both schools)
  • Go all the way to the end
  • Right turn, pass El Chiclero continue straight to the end
  • Right turn on the gravel road, coming toward the Chiney Shop
  • Left Turn on the main street (by the chiney shop)
  • Finish at Castleton Park

TERRAIN:

  • Mostly paved, with bad spots, gravel. mainly flat

CATEGORIES:

  • None – Open

AWARDS:

  • 1st place men and women trophy each race
  • top 10 men / women get medals in each race distance

REGISTRATION:

For 15K, 10K and 5K

  • Registration: CLOSED
  • Registration will only be done online
  • No late registrations
  • No registration on day of the event
  • Deadline is Friday, 23rd Feb, 2024 at 5:30pm

Boom Circle

  • Registration is the morning before the event.

After registration is closed, there will be no modifications, transfers, or swaps.  Any person who presents him/herself taking the position of a runner who didn’t show up will be an automatic disqualification.

T-SHIRT:

  • No

CHECK-IN / PACKET PICKUP:

  • Check-In and packet pickup will be done before the event.  Your reg packet will include your race bib and timing chip.

TIMING:

  • Each runner’s time is important to them and to us as well, hence, to accurately measure runners’ times, we’ll using ProChip Timers.  All races will be mass start with the OFFICIAL time being gun-time (meaning everyone gets the same start time, you are ranked in the order you finish).
  • If you’re not registered online, you will  not be getting a timing chip and will have no official time.

START LINE:

  • In front of Castleton Park

HYDRATION:

15K, 10K and 5K

  • at each u-turn location, this is every 2.5K

Boom Circle

  • mid point on the course

FINISH AREA:

  • Runners must return the timing chip immediately after finishing the race, a sign will let you know where to drop off your chip, indicate to the volunteer nearby that you are doing so.

AWARD CEREMONY:

  • Short ceremony will be held to award finishers.
