DESCRIPTION:Boom Run: 15K\,10K\, 5K & Boom Circle\nhosted by River Valley Foundation\n\n\nREGISTRATION / PAYMENT DEADLINE: \n\nFriday\, February 06th\, 2026 at 5:30pm\n\nEVENT DATE: \n\nSunday\, February 08th\, 2026\n\nSTART TIMES: \n\n6:00 am 15K\n6:15 am 10K\n6:30 am 5K\n6:35 am Boom Circle\n\nDISTANCES: \n\n15K (9.32 miles)\n10K (6.2 miles)\n5K (3.1 miles)\nBoom Circle 2 miles\n\nSTART / FINISH LOCATION: \n\nCastleton Park\, Burrell Boom Village\n\nENTRY FEE: \nRegistration fees are non-refundable\, and non-transferable. \nAny Distance \n\n$30 Adults\n$20 Students\n\nROUTE: \n15K\, 10K\, and 5K\n \n\nStart at Castleton Park\nGo west towards Bermudian Landing for 1/2 your race distance\nMake a U turn\nComeback to Castleton Park\n\nBoom Circle\n \n\nStart Castleton Park\nHead East toward Center of the Village\nRight Turn by the bus stop (between both schools)\nGo all the way to the end\nRight turn\, pass El Chiclero continue straight to the end\nRight turn on the gravel road\, coming toward the Chiney Shop\nLeft Turn on the main street (by the chiney shop)\nFinish at Castleton Park\n\nTERRAIN: \n\nMostly paved\, with bad spots\, mainly flat\n\nCATEGORIES: \n\nNone – Open\n\nAWARDS: \n\nTop 10 men / women get medals in 5K\, 10K & 15K\n\nREGISTRATION: \nFor 15K\, 10K and 5K \n\nRegistration: CLOSED!\nONLY online registrations will be chip-timed\nRegistration on day of the event (no chip timing)\nDeadline is Friday\, 06th Feb\, 2026 at 5:30pm (you must be registered before 5:30pm otherwise it’s late)\n\nBoom Circle \n\nRegistration is the morning before the event\, not chip timing.\n\n>> After registration is closed: << \n\nThere is a $10 administration fee for changes made to your registration\nThere is a $10 administration fee for late registration\nThere is a $20 administration fee for day of event registration\nThere will be no modifications\, transfers\, or swaps.  Any person who show up taking the position of a runner who didn’t show up will be an automatic disqualification.\n\nT-SHIRT: \n\nNo\n\nCHECK-IN / PACKET PICKUP: \n\nCheck-In and packet pickup will be done before the event.  Your reg packet will include your race bib and timing chip.\n\nTIMING: \n\nEach runner’s time is important to them and to us as well\, hence\, to accurately measure runners’ times\, we’ll using ProChip Timers.  All races will be mass start with the OFFICIAL time being gun-time (meaning everyone gets the same start time\, you are ranked in the order you finish).\nIf you’re not registered online\, you will  not be getting a timing chip and will have no official time.\n\nSTART LINE: \n\nIn front of Castleton Park\n\nHYDRATION: \n15K\, 10K and 5K\n \n\nat each u-turn location\, this is every 2.5K\n\nBoom Circle \n\nmid point on the course\n\nFINISH AREA: \n\nRunners must return the timing chip immediately after finishing the race\, a sign will let you know where to drop off your chip\, indicate to the volunteer nearby that you are doing so.\n\nAWARD CEREMONY: \n\nNo.  however\, medals will be awarded immediately after crossing the finish line.\n\nNOTE:  \nAfter you submit your registration\, an automatic email will be sent to you with additional information.  If you don’t see it in your inbox\, please check the junk/spam folder or promotions tab.  If it is still not there\, you may have entered your email address incorrectly\, please ask us to confirm. \n
