This exciting community event welcomes everyone of all ages and abilities! Whether you’re a competitive runner aiming for a personal best, a recreational runner, a beginner, or someone who simply enjoys walking and staying active, this race is for YOU!
Experience the excitement of running through the streets of Benque Viejo del Carmen, with routes entirely within town limits, starting and finishing at Centennial Park. More than just a race, Miles for Smiles promotes healthy living, community unity, and the joy of staying active together.

Christian De La O is a member of the Benque Sports Committee and is organizing the Miles for Smiles 5K & 10K Run alongside fellow committee members Sammy Sosa, Julio Castellanos, and Dariselly De La O. Together, they are working to bring this exciting community sporting event to Benque Viejo del Carmen, promoting healthy lifestyles, community unity, and opportunities for people of all ages to participate in running and physical activity.

Centennial Park (also known as Centennial Memorial Park) is a 2-acre community green space and historic site located on Church Street in Benque Viejo del Carmen, Cayo District, Belize
