Jersey Run 5K  (in-person & virtual)

CONCEPT:

Due to the ongoing international  tournament, of the world’s most famous,  popular and  loved sport (football) is fitting to do a run to celebrate. Wear you favorite football team’s jersey!

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:

• Sunday, July 26, 2026 > Cayo

START TIME:

• 5:30 am

START / FINISH LOCATIONS:

• Bz City > Marion Jones Sporting Complex
• Cayo > Iguana Creek Road, just down from the Round A Bout

DISTANCE:

• 5K

ENTRY FEE:

• $25 (non-refundable)

ROUTE:

BELIZE CITY

• Start at Marion
• towards Princess Margret Drive
• Right turn on University Drive (by UWI)
• Left turn on Teacher Street (after UB)
• Left turn on Blue Marlin Ave (by the hospital)
• Right turn on Durgeon Drive (by Abraham/Hook ups)
• Left turn on Sea Shore  Drive (All the way to the end )
• Left turn on ButtonwoodBay Blvd
• Right turn on Coney Drive
• Left turn on Princess Margret Drive (at the Round A Bout)
• Left turn to Marion Jones for the finish

IGUANA CREEK

• Start at the bus stop
• Down Iguana Creek Road
• U-turn at half way point
• Come back the same way
• Finish at the bus stop

• Asphalt

• Before the race starting at 5am

TIMING:

• Chip timed

• Cayo > Bus Stop near the Round A Bout.

HYDRATION:

• at U-Turn Location 2.5K

FINISH AREA:

• Runners must return the timing chip immediately after finishing the race, indicate to the person responsible to collect them that you are doing so.
