Celebrating Father’s Day by participating in a 10K Race.

START / FINISH LOCATION:

• Victor Galvez Stadium, San Ignacio

ROUTE:

• Leaving the Victor Galvez Stadium downhill towards Police Station,
• Take a right at the police station, then left turn at the park unto Burns Ave
• Turn Right on Savannah Street passing the Welcome Center and the market
• Turn Right towards the wooden bridge go across and up the hill
• Turn Left on top of the hill which is George Price Ave
• Turn Right on Liberty Street
• Turn Left on the George Price Highway go all the way to the round-a-bout
• Turn Left on the Luma Luz Blvd
• Run across the new bridge continue on Joseph Andrew Drive
• Turn Right Bullet Tree Road where the traffic light is go until you see the Puma Gas station
• Turn left on Collins Blvd dusty white mall road  (it gets tricky here analyze the map properly)
• Turn left unto a concrete street, at the orange house  (don’t know the street name)
• Turn Right on Crenshaw Street go straight all the way to the highway
• Turn Left on George Price Highway
• Finish at Victor Galvez Stadium

RUNGO APP:

Those of you who would like turn-by-turn audio navigation on your phone, you can download the RunGo App.  Then download the course.  It also tells you where on the course you are.  It’s not 100% accurate, for example if you are running on the opposite side of the road it will tell you that you are off course, but at least you will know you’re on the correct street.  How to use it, down the app, download the course, at the start on the 10, click run on the app and it will navigate you through the entire course.  Easy Right?   It does not require cellular data.

• Deadline is Thursday, June 15th, 2023 at 5pm

After registration is closed, there will be no modifications, transfers, or swaps.  Any person who show up taking the position of a runner who didn’t show up will be an automatic disqualification.

CHECK-IN / PACKET PICKUP:

Check-In and packet pickup will be done before the event.  Your race bib and timing chip will be included.

TIMING:

Each runner’s time is important to them and to us as well, hence, to accurately measure runners’ times, we’ll using ProChip Timers. Timing method will be gunshot whereby all participants receive the same start time. Your time will be stopped when you cross the sensor at the finish line.

START LINE:

• Runners will line up on the concrete area in front of the Victor Galvez Gate

HYDRATION:

• Three hydration stations:
  • round-a-bout intersection of George Price Highway and Luma Luz Blvd. (where the Santa Elena sign is)
  • at the intersection of Joseph Andrew Drive and Bullet Tree Road, (at the traffic light)
  • on top of Collins Blvd. (by special request)

FINISH AREA:

• Runners must return the timing chip immediately after finishing the race, a sign will let you know where to drop off your chip, indicate to the volunteer nearby that you are doing so.

AWARD CEREMONY:

• Short ceremony will be held to award prizes and medals.
